No need to be sorry about anything, Steve. Carry what you like and what you want. Nice clutch of knives, buddy.

I was lucky enough in the early 1980s to be in the San Francisco Gun Exchange after work one afternoon. I was drooling over a Colt Python in the used gun counter that was like new. They wanted $400 and living on a new teacher’s salary I was hesitant. Then I heard a voice from behind me saying, “Buy it son”. He was no other than Clint Eastwood who was in the City filming one of the sequel’s of Dirty Harry. Needless to say I maxed out my credit card and bought the Colt and I’m sure glad I did!View attachment 2487238

You can't argue with Clint.

That's a sweet revolver and an awesome story to go with it!

That may be the coolest story I have ever heard, Dan. When Inspector Harry Callahan tells you to do something…..you don’t argue 😂.

Great knives and Python!!!!

Thanks Paul, at the time I was so in awe I didn’t know what to say! So I just bought the gun and went home to our apartment , ten days later it was mine!. My girlfriend and future bride was not impressed. But she eventually forgave me. Especially when I told her what it’s worth now!

Now that's a story for your grandkids, Dan!

There's a few combos of traditional and modern in here, so that counts, right? All 4 knives on the left are in Magnacut, and all 4 knives on the right are M390 steel.

I'd pair the CPK with the Holt and CKF, and pair the Buck with a Giantmouse and one of the Varga (maybe the large).
