Traditional and Modern pairings

Nothing wrong with that. :)
I got rid of all my modern knives except my two USA Made Spyderco knives... Manix 2 and Para 3.
I go through phases but Spyderco is an amazing company. They are not afraid to push the boundaries with exotic steels.

I enjoy the US made ones as well but something about Japanese and steel just work. I think the simple Seki city lockbacks are my favorite.

I agree and I've had so many different Spyderco knives and all were excellent.
I just decided to simplify and cut my moderns down to just one Medium and just one Large.
I have no need for a small modern, that's what all my traditional knives are for... I usually carry one of each.
One traditional knife in my left pocket for every day tasks and one modern in my right pocket for larger tasks or emergencies.

I got out early and got all the weed whacking done before it hit 90 degrees. I don't mind riding around on the tractor when it's hot, but running the trimmer for an hour & a half in that kind of heat kicks my butt. I must be getting old.
