Here are a couple of large lockbacks. The top is an early 1990s Cold Steel Voyager XL the bottom knife is either an original mid 19th century hunting knife (lockback) or one of the many 1950s- 60s India made reproduction of the same. Interestingly, the boosters on the bottom knife are hollow. Anyway, oversized pocket knives were a thing long before Cold Steel.
Note: the Voyager XL was modified by a previous owner. Originally there wouldn’t be a pocket clip and the knife would ride in a form fitted plastic belt sheath.
