May I ask about the middle knife, do you see a specific task which would be appropriate to accomplish with such a difference in blade grind? Genuine question. I understand it when the tip is flat grind (for strength) and the rest is hollow (for the accurate slicing and such), but vice versa - I don't get.

Initially I asked for it just based on how it would look with the DamaSteel..... However, after a few years of use, it does good work on critters large and small...That forward part is slicey........Back end is more saber/flat ground and will handle heavy duty crap nicely....... Phillip Patton does EXCELLENT WORK.....
