Thanks! My father-in-law was a blacksmith working for the New York Central Railroad in the 1960s. He made the anvil and several tools which we ended up with.
One of my old friends got into blacksmithing as a hobby in high school, and his parents helped him acquire a few anvils once they realized his interest was serious. They were both large and massively heavy. We were always looking for a smaller one!

I think he made that little one more as a novelty than a working tool. It had a little hammer and tongs also. The hammer got lost to the sands of time.
