Traditional and Modern pairings

A few weeks back, there was an older Benchmade knife in this thread that caught my eye. It was the prominent butterfly on the scales that attracted me to it. I commented that I liked it, and simply asked what model it was. Fast forward a couple of weeks and I receive a DM from Modoc ED Modoc ED asking me if I would like to have it. I graciously accepted his generosity. He stated that he would send it my way, and didn’t want anything in return. What Ed didn’t know, at the time, was that the butterfly held a special meaning to me, reminding me of my late mother. The knife showed up in my mailbox today. I will refer to this wonderful gift as “Maggie” in her memory. I will always cherish it, as well as the “Bonus” that was in the box! Thanks again Ed! 😊 Lance IMG_9588.jpeg
