A plethora of K390 fans! It's good stuff. When it first came out and hadn't yet been tested by Larrin I think a lot of people assumed anything this hard must not be very tough. I was using the edge rather abusively during carving and became convinced it was indeed tough. The testing seems to have born that out and I am sure all of you have noted the same. It's a great steel!
 
African Buffalo Horn on both. The TEW is an exquisite folder - a description that is rare for me with Sheffield folders 😄 - it was made by a fella I know who used to work there, as was the previous MOP 2-blader yesterday.

The other is made by South African maker friend Ig Loubser (lives, works in UK now) and is the only maker I know to do tapered liners………his ingenuity and craftsmanship is off the scale.
