Had it a few years now....My niece celebrated a year sober she's 17 now🙄, A year ago and she likes Knives!!!
I offered her whatever she wanted from my collection.... She chose this one!!!!!............Anywho,, she's still sober and its made its way back to me.....Im not complaining..👌

Thanks! It is a personal favorite of mine made by my friend David Mary David Mary called the "Bird 'n Shark." It is a modified version of his bird and trout knife dubbed the "Bird in Trouble" - the only difference is that mine has a longer blade (about 3.5") and maybe a slightly longer handle.


I initially asked him to add a top quillon which resembled a dorsal fin (hence the "shark" moniker), but thankfully he talked me out of it. The handle material is "Brook Trout" micarta made by G.L. Hansen & Sons - I thought it fitting for a bird and trout type knife. David used some of the leftover micarta to make a matching knife for my daughter (this one is the "Bittyrang").
