The tortoise acrylic + bronzed screws are really popping on that JWK. Photo with the blade open? Great pair with the burlap GEC.
 
The Neo 6 is pretty nifty once you sort out that awful rounded point. The slip joint feature is pretty stiff for what it is and actually puts a fair amount of pressure to keep the knife shut. The handle is so round that I had to rest it on my Stretch to get a decent shot.

The only thing stiffer than the spring is the price at over $35.00 a piece. Most expensive Opinel in my pile.

Thanks! I've had this one for many years. Haven't really carried it much, but it is very well made. The folks I spoke with at Perceval were very friendly. Even let me choose from multiple sets of wood blanks before they made a different model for me.

That's a long ways to go for a knife.... Hopefully you have more on your list than just that one!
