Guys,
Here's another new batch of products from CAMILLUS that we haven't talked as much about. I've got some pictures availible now, so here we go.....

Last year CAMILLUS did a trail run of 1000 each of 4 patterns of traditional folders[our 'bread and butter'] in traditional tortoise celluliod. We have not done celluliod in many years, as it is quite dangerous to work with, and HAS been out of 'style' for years. The project went quite well with the knives selling out right away. Quite a few forumites aquired them and seemed very happy.

This year we will continue the series with 4 patterns, 1000 each, but this time with stunning ABALONE celluliod. This year we will have a TRAPPER, STOCKMAN, SINGLE BLADE LOCKBACK, and new this year, a 2 BLADED CONGRESS PATTERN. The CONGRESS PATTERN will replace last years large stockman. Here's a pic......

Like last years knives, the blades are POLISHED 1095 carbon, and the knives have brass liners and nickel-silver bolsters. Suggested retail on the STOCKMAN is $49.95.

Tell me what you think....

It's a fine line between "a hobby" and "mental illness".

pyrguy,
Suggested retail is $49.95 on the 3 bladed stockman's model pictured. The usual online suspects will be carrying them, Knifeoutlet, CR Specialties, Chai Cutlery, Knifecenter, and of course AG RUSSELL Knives. We should be shipping them in late march, maybe sooner.

As far as BLADESHOW goes, there's no way I would miss it! As to whether we have any or not, we maybe sold out by then the way this is going. They were well recieved at the SHOTSHOW.

Thanks for the interest!

Very cool, Will. I have two models of the tortiseshell and love them both. These abalone should look good in the drawer next to them! Thanks,
Brian

Will,

How about doing a run with real pearl and Abalone? The fit and finnish on the knife you posted looks like it deserves the real thing. I know I would buy at least one.

Tom Carey
