Traditional Fixed Blade Knives?

What knife do you think of when someone says "traditional fixed blade knife?" Nessmuk? Kephart? Canadian Belt Knife? Bowie? Let's hear what you think of.
 
When I hear "traditional fixed blade" I think of a more modern knife like I saw men carrying during hunting season when I was younger. Most carried either a Schrade Sharp Finger, Buck (119 or 102), or a Case 3-finn. The Buck was so popular that most people referred to any fixed blade knife as a "buck knife"
 
The first knife to come to my mind was the Marbles Woodcraft with Stacked Leather Handle
 
Buck 124, Bowie, Kephart and Nessmuk and those old Rapala filet knives by Marttiini -

First thoughts, older styles of modern knives, Schrade sharpfinger, buck 119, and drop point hunters, and german hunting knives. 2nd thought brings to mind the roach bellies, and small cowboy bowies, keppies, and green river skinners.

good call on the sharpfinger and green river knives.
 
In my mind (and it's largely influenced by what I saw as a kid and through my adolescence) the Buck 100 series, K-Bar, Sharpfinger, and stacked-leather handle Marbels and Case are just knives. That's what everybody owned, carried, and used. So traditional means "old" and that brings to mind the Bowies and green river knives.

My grandfather worked two jobs. Amtrak/Union Pacific and nights at The Detroit Stock Yard. Whenever "traditional fixed blade" comes up I think of his knives from the stock yard.

He used stuff like this:

I rehandled a couple for my mother that were beat. The handles had been wrapped with an unidentifiable tape like substance decades ago.

Traditional fixed blade always conjures images of Old Hickory, Green River, or vintage Chicago cutlery. Old wood handles with three brass rivets. Used butcher knives cut down and reshaped like the Kephart.
