Traditional Fixed Blade Knives?

I only own one clip point (my modded Becker BK2 straight clip), but but Wazu called it for me.

Oddly enough, I don't ever consider buying an older kabar/Cam or other bowie style, though I do relate them to the "traditional" pattern that I am accustomed to while growing up.

If it had to be ones that I would purchase (or duplicates of) it would be a Canadian Belt knife or a hudson bay.

When I was growing up, the Buck and Ka-Bar knives were the definition of a traditional knife. While not a Buck, but I picked this one up (Model 15) many many years ago. I think I paid around $150 for it.

Model 15? Back in 1977 I got a Model 1 with the Model 2 Commando handle, nickel guard, and stainless blade, for $96. Only a 3 month wait back them.

I have my receipt somewhere for this. It was ordered in the early 80's.
