Traditional Folders 101

I think I now have enough reference material to study for a few days. I still am intrigued by congress and barlow knives but time will tell if things stay that way.

I did buy a Christy knife earlier today to work into my mix of modern folders. Should be fun.

You will hear from me again after all of this soaks into my brain.

Just a thought, a lot of makers have "nail pullers" or "knife openers", small thin metal pieces that you use to open the knife instead of using your fingernail. And they usually have company names or phone numbers, or other such advertising on them. Some of them are collectible as well.
