I call this the 50 collection..
Last year I turned 50 at the start of the year, the wife had the Naude commisoned in 2020. It was sent in time but never arrived so the smoko was bought as a replacement. To everyones shock the Naude was delievered over 3 months after my birthday😯
Some family members gave me some money. So I bought an Adina country master. The Adina is special to me, as Adina celerbrated 50 years of operation as the same as me, pretty appropriate👍
Adina is a family run business based out of Brisbane Australia, have most of the parts produced offshore & assemble the watches in Brisbane.
It's pretty much my edc watch, just had a new metal band put on it.

DISCLAIMER: Put this in the "Totin" thread but decided to share here ...

... and a 2015 NORTHWOODS INDIAN RIVER JACK ...

Not really into time since retirement 16yrs ago but spent a little time tonight with an old hobby of mine.

I've always preferred automatic watches with analog faces and I used to try and get them into the best possible adjustment.
I'm happy with the accuracy and precision of this watch now. +2 sec/day 0.1ms beat error.
While the movement is not certified as such, it is quite well within COSC Chronometer compliance.
It is more accurate and precise than about 99% (i'm scientific like that) of the automatic watches out there.
Could it get it even more accurate and precise? ... maybe, but it's good enough for now.

Is it as accurate as a quartz watch, the clock on your cell phone, or computer? ... no sir. I have a radio controlled Casio Lineage for that when necessary.
This little watch hobby of adjustment is just as relaxing and rewarding as sharpening a knife ... to me anyway.

I many other watches that I just as seldom wear any more. This Watch ...
Tisell Pilot Watch 40mm, Type A with Diamond Crown
Sapphire Crystal with AR Coating on front and Mineral Crystal on back
Super Luminova BGW9
Auto Winding MIYOTA caliber 90S5, 24 Jewel movement
On a Hirsch Natural Rubber strap

While I used a GREAT phone app to check and adjust the watch this evening, I do have an old Mumford Micro Systems Clock and Watch Timer that I used to use.
... and NO, I do not work on other peoples watches. Even after many years (decades), I'm just a hack and not watch repair trained.

Hello Brother Jim! How do you like your Casio Lineage?

I recently received a similar model and I was surprised by the light weight considering that mine has a stainless steel bracelet. The Titanuim models must be nearly weightless. The Sapphire crystal on mine is great but it puts off a nasty glare making the dial difficult to read in most lighting. Aside from that, it does everything it's supposed to do.

I managed to get a pic without the glare. I don't have pic with a knife so two separate pics will have to do. First knife I've purchased in 3 1/2 months which is rare for me.

Nice Watch and Knife ... Looks GREAT together !!! :)

I agree, the crystal glare is noticeable in some lighting.
The Titanium is indeed very light weight at 67grams.
By comparison, My plastic Casio G-Shock comes in at 53.5grams and they feel virtually the same weight on wrist.
However, some people much prefer the "heft" of a stainless steel watch. I can completely understand personal preference.

Only two things I don't prefer about my Titanium Lineage ...
1) I prefer a sweep second hand on an analog watch face and this one jumps a second at a time.
2) If I wear the watch to bed, it WILL NOT sync with the atomic clock.
I MUST leave the watch near a window before sync attempts begin at midnight and each hour after that as necessary.
But it always seems to sync correctly the first time at midnight. Just the way it is for my geolocation in Lower Alabama.

Of other note, is the fact the Titanium band scratches with normal use but they are light scratches.
I use a worn out green meany to lightly and easily brush/blend the scratches away and keep the band looking new.
Also worthy of a mention along with the second hand jumping a second at a time ...
The second hand doesn't line up exactly precisely with min/hr markers. Mentioned for those who might be a little OCD about that.
The second hand isn't very far off and hardly ever noticed, but is if you're looking for that.
Maybe another reason why I prefer a sweep second hand LOL.

Other than that, I greatly enjoy wearing and using the watch and am confident I always have the EXACT Boulder CO Atomic Clock time.
... or dang near it with only a hair splitting difference perhaps ... And I love that. :)
