For sure, as far as keeping time, fantastic. Lots of them never need a battery (solar) or have one that lasts 10 years, receive the atomic clock time, link to your phone to get the time, water proof, and lose negligible seconds per month. Some automatics are just art work, though. To be honest, that G-Steel is gorgeous, but so is my even cheaper steel Casio dive watch that cost maybe a quarter of the price. I do love Casio. I have some Seiko and a few cheaper Swiss quartz watches with dead batteries from way back when I stopped wearing a watch... I love to wear Casio now and not worry about anything... I did that with a Seiko Coutura a GF gave me and it looked like I ran it through a stone wash tumbler after wearing it 6 months.Nothing "wrong" with Casio. It has been my "go to" watch brand since 2013 or so.
They keep much better time than my "house brand" watches with an unbranded Seiko quartz, or NH35 automatic movement ... 1 or two seconds per week, compared to Seiko's 5 (quartz) to 22 seconds (NH35) per day .
