It's been a while since I was able to post in this thread...that I started ;) but lacking French blades limits ya. I have my heart set on a Chambriard le Mi-Jo but lacking a source on this side of the pond is limiting my endeavours...in the mean time, I did get this little cutie, once I saw waynorth waynorth aka Charlie's posting of his, I had to pick one up and it's a neat folder and handy too.

I carefully cut a strip of walnut and glued it into the end slot to fill up that empty space, makes it nicer all the way round now.

That is good to know, problem lies in that I do not have paypal so that limits how I could repay those in other countries, I would not wish to be a burden on someone else for my terrible addiction to Chambriard folders :)

Soon, in a few weeks or so, I will be able to post a new French folder in this thread, thanks to my friend RayseM RayseM for his help in locating a Chambriard le Mi-Jo for me from an overseas location. Here's hoping that this is the Goldie Lock's folder for me as I've owned many...far too many...of the Chambriards before, loved every one of them but for one reason or another I moved on to get something else. So with high hopes, this will have some staying power, otherwise you 'Usual Suspects' better start lining up early ;) But, I hope you all wish me Bonne chance !

Here is my carry today on a rainy & snowy :confused: April day in Maine. Not certain if it qualifies as Traditional with it nouveau locking mechanism but it is French and one of my favorites ~
