It's by Parapluie, who are extinct. The people who bought their name might even be extinct. The handle is snakewood, and the pattern is Le Thiers.
I'll take this as an excuse to take more pictures. 3 & 3/8" blade, 4.25" closed.

Take as many pics as you want! I love this thread. I do remember seeing this knife before, but I couldn't see the umbrella stamp in the picture. Too bad about the extinction.... seems to happen more than it should but also makes the remaining knives even more special.

Is that carbon or stainless? It seems like it's a little tough to find carbon blades these days. I don't think I've ever seen it on a Le Thiers model
