Traditional GAW :) WINNER ANNOUNCED!!! (see last post)

...
Anyway, I don't do much around here but post pics and comment on others' collections, but I enjoy this "place" so thought it would be fun to give back.
...

I think you're selling yourself WAY short, David. The pics you post give many of us examples of what kinds of knives we can aspire to have someday. This generous GAW is, to my mind, in the same vein: you're bringing hope to the hopeless!! :D:D:thumbup:

Thanks for the beautiful knife you (and Glenn, indirectly) put up for grabs.:cool: Please count me in for a shot at it!
Good luck, everybody! :)

Recently fallen hard for traditionals, particularly GEC. I'm in! Very tasteful and functional mods. Thanks for your generosity.

I'm in. That knife is sic, in a good way! I love the wood scales and the shield. I am always loved the sheepsfoot blade. I have been collecting more tactical folders until recently. I am on a traditional kick and its very nice to be here! Thanks for the chance on the giveaway.

thank you for doing the GAW and what a great strory to go with. I like the blade configuration and could see it being a great EDC.

I'm in!

Thank you for the chance!

This is sure nice of David to do a GAW on this knife. I really liked what he wanted on this knife. There are times when I am done with a project that I am sorry to see it go, this was one of those. Thanks to everyone for the comments! Here are some more pics...

Not an entry of course, but nice gesture David!

David, I faught hard, but I can resist no longer. Glenn's pics pushed me over the edge. It truly is a gorgeous knife and who ever snags it will love it.

Please count me in good sir and thank you.

I'm in too !!! I don't have a GEC #54. Closest I get in my rotation is a Northwoods IRJ ... well, it's an equal end ... and one of my favorites

The biggest thing that's held me back on the #54 are the clip AND spear blades (don't need a reamer blade either) ... virtually the same thing that holds me back on most trappers (usually clip and spey). I always feel like the blades are redundant. Choose one or the other, make some single blade knives. But ... BUT ... a clip and sheepfoot ?!?!?! ... WIN !!! :)

Awesome to have you aboard Brett! Good luck sir
