Traditional Guess Thread

WarBoarSword! Take the war boar and straighten it out and add 2 and a half feet of length! Or just make a nice dagger wit it.

Rattlebaby bataniku!

Well there were stories of saber rattling so maybe some type of Busse saber.

I am thinking this is a reference to the hognose snake. It is native to Ohio where there are lots of rattlers as well. It is also known for its survival mechanisms where it

a) Flatens its head to appear hooded like a cobra and fake strikes with nose bumps

b) Rolls and plays dead, even capable of bleeding from the mouth and musking

It is literally an imposter in the grass in every way.

So,

Hognose Warsword
Hognose Cutlass
Hognose Kopis
Hognose Xiphos
Hognose Scimitar

Imposter in the grass - not a snake but a lizard. Early 70s....lizard king = Morrison. (Or a crawling kingsnake reference - still Morrison)
War sword.....ummmm....Busse Unknown Soldier?

Was gonna say lizard king

I'll say Serpent King instead.

The ancient*Midrashim*relate that he possessed a sword with the Divine Name of G-d (the “Tetragram“) inscribed in it on both sides of the sword’s blade.

Tetragrammaton

Tetra

Sword of Triumph

YHWH
