Traditional Knife and Gun Picture Thread

This is a fun little Over/Under: Savage Model 24 with .410 bore on top and .22 LR on bottom from 1950-1965. The Case 65 SABs are from 1940-1964; the boots are a bit newer.

I am really enjoying this thread so I have one more for today. A rare 4 barreled derringer in 357 mag paired with a well used Case/Bose LC.

Great work on those Rugers.
I remember the COPs. I think they gave one to Napoleon Solo in The 15 Years Later Affair, Man from Uncle TV movie. They might have been rare already, because we were meant to believe it fired rockets or grenades or something.

Stuart, I’m a bit jealous. Several years ago I had the chance to pick up a couple of 24’s for extremely reasonable prices. Having 2 young daughters at the time I elected to pass, and boy do I kick myself for that now!!

Great photo, and I'm green with jealousy over that green bone hunter!:thumbsup:

Thanks to both of you for the kind comments and maybe I can ease your itch a bit. If you look closely at the green bone below the Case shield to the right, there is a bit of bone missing. And (intentionally) missing from the Model 24 pic is a good bit of rust at the end of the muzzles (to which I have been preoccupied for the past few days). Regardless, the Model 24 is a nice little rat/snake/varmint gun, and a fine gun for a beginner hunter/shooter.

What a good looking pistol for being 101 years old, love the military history.
My colt is young whippper snapper in comparison, it left the factory in 1937. The sear broke and I sent it to California for repair and action tune. My uncle received it in the mail because I was on the boat and I retrieved it tonight. 38 special
