Upon suggestion from a number of members I started a thread for input and decided to remove a couple damaged knives, the modern knives will go back to the member who originally included them. I took out the black hard case , and finally I divided up everything very evenly and fairly into 2 separate 25 knife boxes.

This will be box #1

And this will be box #2.

Rules.
1st winner gets 1st choice of boxes.
The winners receive a box, make their fair trades, then hosts the next rounds.

We're trying to keep the box from getting out of hand again so keep this in mind :

No broken knives.

Use your best judgement when it comes to worn vintage knives.

Try not to put in more knives than you take

Taking an extra knife or two to gift is advised

Just generally do your best to help keep the box manageable while also being fair and about what you take.

I will let this run for 2 weeks now instead of just the 1.
To enter just post that you're in, paying regular porch members in the Continental US only for now until we can figure out what other costs & complications will be involved.

Im not in I just had the box in December, but Mrs Rickhuf wanted that tortoiseshell Boker bad! That is a really cool knife.

Ultimately we decided against it because last time I gave her a nice Boker it vanished quickly. She has an opinel garlic knife now that she loves and it seems to not get lost.

Lets keep it going to 200 amd beyond! Not an entry just happy to see it still going strong.

Please put my name in, I see the Imperial knife I want is still there.

thank you

I'm in. What are the rules? I've never participated before.
Open to any paying porch regular in the Continental US.
I wish international shipping didn't cost so much so we could include members outside the US, but if this heavy box cost $31.50 to get to me I hate to think how much it would cost to ship it internationally.
I don't know whether it would really be fair to expect any kind of shipping compensation or anything when that hasn't been asked of any previous winners here in the US.

Maybe we should have a vote and decide on some way we can include our international members ?

Not sure what the laws involve. A while back, one of our Australian members commented on how difficult it is to get a single knife through their postal system. Not sure if a box would be allowed.

Not only that, but there may be duties involved. Even if something is claimed to be a gift, duties may apply to the fair market value.

Now you're making me feel kind of bad.
I chose that Boker because the pen blade was quite kanted and it seemed like a good project.

I don't think I squandered the knife or anything, but assumed it was lower interest and if I had known somebody would have loved it as is I would have left it alone.
