Traditional Knife Haiku

Spent the night searching
A favorite knife gone missing
Found it in my truck

If, where you come from,
Favorite has three syllables
These haiku won’t work

Got an update from USPS that it left San Antonio, about a two-hour drive from my home town, at 6:33 pm. I am guessing if they couldn't have it in my mailbox by 8:00 pm, they will deliver tomorrow.

No worries - sslab les is just 2.

But - just sos ya know, it is pronounced fav or ite - no matter how fast you say it. (or is that fav o rite)

NOPE - I like the 1st way. And I've been practicing the 2 syllable version of FAVRITE. So I'm not an old dog after all.
