Traditional Lockbacks

Thanks for posting pics of that Knife..... that lockback is a good addition

All three are older Henckels. Somewhere between the turn of the century and WW II, I would guess. The one on the right is a lockback, just hard to see that it is. The beavertail, or coke bottle, is for JPN but its obviously not a lockback.

Tremendous knives!
Admire the jigged bone and those old adverts in a previous post too, it would be excellent if you could get repros of old catalogues to drool over and indulge in nostalgia.Might even inspire some new reproductions of lesser known styles.Out of interest, who has the oldest knife on this thread/forum? Anything before 1899?

Mike..your killing me...actually I get more worked up over the slip joint...thanks man

Here are two Schrade Cut. Co. liner locks, and a push button keeping them company. I think that's all I have of some age that lock. Anyone else??

Just bought this Arthur Wright and Son. Seems a better fit here than in the English Jack thread. Very solid and good walk and talk. 4.5 inches long with carbon steel blade and rosewood handle. A very traditional pattern. Overall, I'm quite pleased. May use this one around the house.
