Benchmade's 15015 Bone Collector skinner in D2, with micarta slabs, is the best knife for processing venison (in the field) that I've ever used. Superb blade control, the micarta gives a better grip when wet than when dry and Benchmade's D2 seems to stay sharper longer than Queen's. But if you're set on a big lockback folder, the Queen Mountain Man would be hard to beat. I've used mine (not a lockback) once and it did the job well, but I'd not buy one unless I could check the lockup first.
For the first twenty-some years of my hunting, I used a Schrade 152 Sharpfinger in 1095, but had to touch up the blade every now and then. D2 is where it's at.
