Great photos, everyone!

Here's a couple pictures of my son goofin' around with daddy's pocket knife the other day. These two (my son and the knife) were both released on the same day, March 31st 2015. The knife is very special to me and is one I will surely pass along to him one day.

All of my wife and I's kids and their family's spent the weekend with us and we have been putting up fall decorations and deep cleaning our house all weekend under the careful direction of the family Matriarch my wife Ann. There have been people sleeping in the bedrooms on the couches in the floors and all over the house. My daughter took the opportunity to take this shot of me. Even though we have worked all weekend, been crowded (18 people in a 2200 sq ft house) went through about $500 worth of food we also have laughed, talked, looked at old pictures played cards and took a lot of trips down memory lane. This has no doubt been one of the best weekends ever, we've had a great time. For me time spent with family is the absolute best and even though we just stayed home I can't think of anywhere else I would have rather been.

Randy, you look like you are decorated out. I'm glad that y'all had a wonderful weekend together.

DW that display is beautiful. If I'm not mistaken didn't you post that before and tell us it was a repurposed headboard?

Randy, I built that display out of the original mirror that was on that dresser. I posted pics of it on another Forum that I rarely visit anymore. I knocked the mirror glass out of it and mounted 3 detachable display boxes to the back. You might be thinking of the re-purposed entertainment center I recently finished, or the coffee table I did a little while back. I'm bound and determined to get all my knives displayed. I like the cabinet display so well I'm working on the same idea for a bookcase.

That coffee table is incredible! I hope to see some close up of your fine collection as time goes on.:D

My 9 year old is nuts about animals, especially horses. This was this evening at her lesson to get her ready to ride in a show.

I wasn't as grumpy as I look, I just wasn't ready for the picture like she was.:D

Some friends invited us out to an interesting beach they found to watch the sunset yesterday. It was a little bit of an ordeal carrying a 17 month old and all his associate gear out to the site, but definitely worth it. The beach is right at the end of a jetty and has a huge amount of old downed trees and other driftwood half buried in the sand. A really surreal environment.

This pic from the same night was taken by a friend much more artistically inclined than myself.
