Traditional mug shots

Things have been good for me. Moved to a new town, started doing martial arts, and just won the big KSF contest to go to the Bark River Grind in. So here's one serious and one Silly mugshot to get this thread going again. Also had a good friend visit over the weekend, took him hiking and shooting out here in Washington... Not something we really did growing up back in NJ :p

Looks like aikido?

Here's one of the extremely few pictures of me as an adult on the internet. Or, at least of me an of an adult age, behaving how I behave. I've posted this picture elsewhere, but in areas where some of you might not frequent.

Also an intriguing photo!! You should get together with Henry Beige, whose avatar is Slim Pickens, who famously rode a nuke in Dr. Strangelove.

Hey Andi!! Nice to see your words on here!!
Welcome back! Hope the family is doing well!!
I cooked the Roast, and Joanne (She Who Finds Knives!) made the Pie!!
It had a meringue crust, and was light and delicious. I am making a big pot of bean soup today with the roast leftovers.
The bones etc. simmered all night with a bunch of other nutritious stuff.

Good to see stuff's working out good for you! What martial art is that? Looks somewhat like a judo kimono to me. I did karate for 9 years, but then I moved to the countryside ...

That's me on the right as you look at the pic . This was last November at the cenotaph on remembrance Sunday in the UK ..

Your were/are a Grenadier, right? Can't see what badge your friend is wearing, fusiliers of some kind? o_O I'm bad at recognising British beret badges.

Now that you say it. :D From the side it looked to me as a fusiliers grenade, they usually have thinner flames. The old ones are really hard to tell apart, especially if you add the Yeomanry.

If your interested in British cap badges you might Like These with traditional knives of course
