Up for sale is my Nessmuk pattern.

This is a nice knife. It has comfortable handles and melts into the hand. It has 4-7/8" handles and a 3-3/4" blade. It's contoured to fit comfortably in the hand for long periods of time. The blade is ground with a high convex grind and is very sharp and very thin. It has an old, antiqued look to the blade that I was hoping for. A small hole around the second pin appeared in the wood as I contoured the handles. It's filled with darkened Crazy Glue and sanded completely smooth. You can see this in the second picture. It's screaming for a mustard or grapefruit patina however I figured I'd leave that decision up to the owner.

Strange thing happened as I was taking the pictures. It started spitting mist here in Seattle as I was taking the pictures. You can see some of this in a few of the pictures.

The price includes all Paypal fee's and shipping through USPS in the lower 48.

Price: $160 Now $140 as is with no sheath. I'm moving across country in a month and finishing off the last of this batch. I use Eli with Godspeed Tactical to do my Kydex. If you want me to ship it directly to him, let me know as I do that often for customers.

Specs:

1/8"" 1095 Steel @ 58-60
Handles are Cocobollo over 1/8" Natural canvas
(3) 1/4" Natural Micarta Pins
OAL is 8-5/8"
Handle is 4-7/8"
Blade Length is 3-3/4"

I'm humbled and appreciative of you taking the time to stop by and look at my knives. I am a new maker and do not claim to make a flawless knife. I do make a knife to the very best of my ability. I put everything I possibly can into each and every knife. The grinds are even, the fit and finish is clean and my handles are symmetrical. As you can see from the pictures, the blade is convex and shaving is very sharp. The knife in the picture is as you will receive, including the final edge. If you receive a knife directly from me, and it is not to your satisfaction, just box it up and return it. I will refund your payment as soon as possible. Please feel free to comment.

this is outstanding. i have one of michael's knives and they are nothing short of fantastic. great users w/ a lot of beauty. don't miss out!

I'll take it -- I'm sure it would have gone more quickly if it had a sheath (shipping it out for a custom one is a pain). I think leather would be a better for for a Nessmuk than Kydex though.

Jim, I agree. I'm knee deep in boxes and moving supplies and a sheath was just out of the question.

I appreciate it.

My paypal is mhill7077 at yahoo.com
