I'm looking for traditional plastic spacer material for old school stacked leather handles. The same type used on old Kabars, Western Cutlery Fighting knives or Pal RH 36 type knives. Not looking for carbon fiber and all that stuff. I won't be using any epoxy so glue-ability is not a issue.

Need white that is 1/16"
Black that is 1/8"

Any knifemaker's supply sells it.
Look for fiber spacer material.

I don't think you will get those thicknesses without gluing layers, but if you find them post a link please.

You don't have to glue it, just stack it for the thickness/combination you need.

Might not work for you but I just used some plastic file folders for spacer coloring a little while back. They came in a bunch of different colors, easy to cut, cheap, but I wouldn't get them too hot.

The older knives used the fiber spacer material. Plastic, etc. does not look the same.
Check Jantz Supply co.
