• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

Does anyone know what the name of this is and if anyone makes one today? I can't find pictures but it had a small hatchet head for the handle, and a hiking point (spike) on the end. I'm not talking about the Hawkin' Stick, but it's along similar lines (though a bit friendlier in appearance). Apparently they make an appearance in Russian folk tales, as well.

thats right, its either fokosh or fokos. there were several threads here a few months back but i cant find them or figure out how to go farther than page 3 in the thread history so i am inept. if someone else knows how to look that up than all the luck in the world to them. i know someone here has made at least one. good luck in your search
