OK folks. I'm doing a traditional slipjoint give away here. This is going to be open to anyone that doesn't own or never has owned a traditional slipjoint knife. Of course this GAW is going to be based on the honor system and please only enter if you're truly interested in trying out a good quality slipjoint. This is open to all US and international members. Just post, "I would like to try one out" once in this thread. I will pick a winner this Friday by 6:00 PM EST via random number generator. Good luck.
As a little credit, member ATwistedStaple deserves a pat on the back for urging me to do this.
:thumbup:
And now for the knife details;
Up for grabs is a Great Eastern Cutlery Tidioute #383215 Farmer's Jack in Dusk (dark blue almost black) Jig Bone. OAL closed is 3 7/8" blade and spring are 1095 steel. The hawkbill main blade and spey secondary are very utilitarian and useful in and around the yard/garden, etc. Very nice fit and finish with nice heft to the knife in a relatively small package. GEC is known for setting the standards in traditional quality and styling.
