Real nice,
shame the shipping would cost the same as the 'hawk, otherwise this would be on it's way to Australia!
Cheers

Out of a ball peen hammer? I'm going to have to talk to you about your methods.... Thats something I never thought of and know I can accomplish

Gday Andy

Be careful trying to get these into Australia - they are classed as a throwing weapon and need a permit to import, I have had a long conversation with customs regarding this type of import and no go without the permit.

Thanks Gav,
having already lost a few collectors pieces due to NSW double edge law, and a few folders as they "flick open too easily" IO would hate to give Customs staff another present :)
What about hammer poll based hawks? Are they ok?
Cheers

Sorry for jacking the thread with our colonial woes ;)
Let's get this beaut hawk at the top & get her sold!

Thanks for all the comments. I appreciate it.

Andy, I have shipped several hawks down under. You do have to have a permit. The customers had to apply for a weapons permit and then email a copy to me. I had to print and sign it and ship it back with the hawk. Did not have any problems and shipping was around $35.00 USD

I have told my uncle and a couple buddies to keep their eyes open for used/yardsale ball peen hammers for me, I'm amazed that there is enough steel in a 16oz hammer to do that, very cool.
