For the Traditionalist. Forged welded 2 halves of mild steel with carbon steel (old file)for the edge. Some hammer marks left for character. Differentially heat treated for use. Entire piece moderately aged. O.A.L of head 7 1/4 in. Blade width 2 1/16 in. Spike length 3 1/2 in. from center of eye. Handle handmade from oak. Oil and beeswax finish Handle Length 18 1/4 in.
