Traditional stainless steel knive recommendations ?

Someone above mentioned a Case Sod Buster Jr. which would be a good choice as would a Sod Buster Sr..

A Buck 500 Duke would also be a good choice.

Up until relatively recently Queen would have been a good recommendation :(

I recently became a stainless fan myself and am still searching for the same thing as you. Good recommendations here and I'll be giving Lionsteel and A.G. Russell a shot when funds replenish.

I also like carrying a nice slipjoint.
One with good steel - not always easy to find.

One of my favorites, that doesn't seem to have been mentioned here, is
the outstanding Fallkniven LTC.
A laminated single blade knife using their outstanding 3G powder steel
for the core. Hair popping sharp out of the box.
Strong aluminum scales, no liners.
A nail nick on both sides of the blade.
Slim carry, and about 3-1/4" closed. Sturdy backspring. Very nicely made in Sweden.

It’s just crappy lighting. I’m too lazy to haul out the light booth. The bolsters are Titanium, so they look darker than Nickel Silver.

I highly recommend vintage (70s and older) Case knives in stainless, especially the as-ground SSP type finish.
