Wow...Vim is certainly jumping to the top of the list of kamis as far as I am concerned. Outstanding job.
 
Odd to say it but that's worth selling the 686-4 for. Aww great, now the wallet is crying. A Katana is on the list to buy . . .
 
Sorry to bump in like this guys... the blade and the scabbard are EXCELLENT!!! but the handle looks a bit wrong...:(

the curve of the handle somehow looks unnatural and against the flow of the blade..

I prefer the handle that way. I've always felt that the everest katana lacked noticable sori int he blade, and I like how the handle continues and pronounces the sori in this rendition. Next to the "pool cue" katana, the one with the black diamond in the center (wich was drop dead goergious), this is the best katana I've seen here. and full tang too :D
 
Definitely one of a kind.

Yangdu, next time you talk to the Kami, could you congratulate Vim for that handle curve?

He made an amazing work.
