David does such magnificent work. I love many of the knives of his that I have seen. This one is outstanding.

Keith, I was not even aware of David until my dad got a copy of Knives 2001 (or 2002)....or heck, maybe even 2000 
Anyways he contacted him and ordered that knife. The handle and scabbard are both ebony that dad had and sent to David. The silver used on the handle and such was from some old silver coins left to my dad from his grandfather (or great grandfather). Dad wanted that stuff to be used on something very nice that can be passed down and kept in the family. I of course look at it and fondle it whenever I am over there.
Coop, yes I did the photo of it a couple of days ago. Thanks for the good words on the pic, coming from you, that is definately a compliment.
