This is as traditional and simple as it gets. the body if forged from Wrought Iron and the cutting bit is 1065. The head is 5 3/4" long and the cutting edge is 3 1/8" wide. The wrought iron was some knarly wagon wheel:D The 1065 came from Kelly Cupples. Its on a straight grain haft, burned and stained. No sheath with this one, Im out of rivets :o
The price is ***SOLD**** We acdept paypal and money orders. Our email address is phllpwest@bellsouth.net
Thanks......

Another great one Kentucky! I'm suprised it has lasted this long. Really like the one I got from you last week. Any plans to make another rasp hawk or maybe a spike hawk?

Thanks Pete, it will go out first thing Monday morning. We get this festival out of the way this week and we'll will have more time for the shop and hawks.

Thanks Kentucky, been looking for a new small ax for my green wood Windsor chairmaking, to split out spindles, looks like this might be the ticket. Peter

Bah! I always seem to miss your work when it comes up. This was a super handsome one. What are the odds of these sorts of things coming up in batches soon?

Thats our next thing, trying to make several up at a time. Like is said earlier we have been busy with regular blacksmithing lately, fall fairs etc..After this week we are going back to axes, hawks and knives pretty much full force.

Any plans to make a small one with a hammer poll? That would be my idea of a backpacker/elk hunting hawk.
