Traditional XMAS Knives

Modest, but I like this Buck Solitaire in Cherrywood a great deal.

Schrade Cutco will be coming in a few days. I believe in starting the Year out right.

A lousy pic of a Christmas gift from my wife (GEC 15). Normally I don't care for the peculiar blade shape of one-armed jacks, but my wife looked at a lot of knives and carefully chose one she liked, so I shall cherish it. It saw some real use today as I dismantled an old poultry coop too.

Asked for this GEC #82 Dixie Stockman in African Blackwood, and my boys got it for me (when my wife asked "What do you want to get Dad for Christmas?" they both answered "A knife!"). It's beautiful all around. It's going to bump the Beloved Case Sowbelly from the pocket for a while!

That's nice, makes me miss the one I had. My wife surprised me with this Trapper -

Tongue and Gev - NICE! I'm wondering where you snuck that stockman under my radar? And that sleeveboard is a beauty? At least I think it's a sleeveboard with smooth bone.

Thanks! and yes...its a sleeveboard whittler in smooth bone. I will have to put up more pics and try to do it justice.

So did you pick that beauty out Gevo or did somebody else find it for you?:confused::) 3 & 3/8 inches closed is not a wee knife to me.:D

All by my lonesome:D Yea..its about as small as I like normally. I may get a chance for more pics although its raining now. Thank you, Sir!
