Dr. Bill... What a great question! Imho... I'd say it is a Traditional knife.
But what do I know...lol.:D Sure is a good topic. It's always fun to
see everybody's opinion on stuff like this.

I guess I'll be the dissenting vote, but I do NOT think it is traditional. Doesn't mean I don't like it, but it's not traditional.

Oddly, though, it's not only the timascus that makes it un-traditional for me, it's even more the screws in the scales rather than pins.

Still a pretty knife though . . . I like it.
