Traditionals on Safari?

for folders in factory mades go with g.e.c. in 1095 carbon. see my post on gec mdl.23 on whitetails. one of my customers has been to africa 3 times & plans to go again. he showed me his h&h & purdey double rifles. in great leather cases with ivory handled assessories. it's still a great adventure, he had close up pics of a charging leopard. animal verred off of cameraman at 8 feet . you could see the intensity of the leopards eyes. if cat had'nt turned someone would have been seriously injured. he took knives of alaska & randalls. said skinners so skilled they could cut up eleaphant with a sharp piece of sheet metal. hope you get to go .

When I hiked Mt. Kenya, I had a case trapper in my pocket for food prep, a buck 110 on my belt for general use and I bought a machete in Nairobi fashioned out of an old leaf spring for brush clearing. Got me up the mountain and back down and survived my 12 weeks in Kenya.
