I made a few of these last week for myself and a couple friends and have one left over. Thought I'd share a pic with the tomahawk crowd. Thinking of making the strap longer so it is secured below the hammer pommel. The retention is fine as is, but though aesthetically is would be better. I wanted to make a sheath that allows you to use the hammer without fear of harming the sheath. What do you guys think?

Thanks for the kind words and feedback. I do think I will do a couple of these with a longer strap. I'll be sure to post pics when I do. I was also working on a style which would have a firesteel holder on the side and and DC3 holder either in the front or back.
