Very nice... It is just begging to dress some game. Sharpened a LOT of M2 in my machine shop days. This is truly a deer scalpel.
 
M2 is most closely related to M4. It is a cast steel not a powder steel so it has larger carbides and grain structure that gives it an aggressive cut similar to conventional D2. Wear resistance is between 3V and M4. It is a very good hard working tool steel that will hold a very nice edge for a long time.
