Trailmaster False Edger

I have a Carbon V Trailmaster. Has anyone ever sharpened the false edge on this Knife? Can it even be done? Would the blade have to be "thinned" too much and defeat the pupose of it's thickness.

If you have sharpened it, how did you do it?
