Training wheels on a motorcycle ???

That's one big mini-car. Wow. You could fit all of Skunk's INFI in them compartments. (Maybe that's it. It's Skunk and his secret G/F moving his INFI stash to AZ. Hence hte need for the training wheels.)

A client of mine has a Spyder. He is over 65 and loves it. LOL (HE's no wussy - he also goes snowmobiling in the winter. He just can't hold a bike up anymore.)

...I've always said, "Whatever get's ya in the wind", so I take it back, if trainin' wheels do it for ya, than more power to ya brother.

I have to agree but it's kinda the 'mo-ped' mentality... wouldn't want to be seen on one ya know!

Wow!

Let's analyze this a little further:

-Dude is a big dork
-Dude has messed up ADA issue and needs them to continue his passion
-Dude is weak, wimp, old:p
_Dudes wife wouldn't ride with him after she saw him drop it and made him get them before he could take her around on it
_Dude takes turns with wife up front...wife can't hold bike up...dude wears helmet to conceal shame whilst in the rear position

I vote for the last one...the guy's just too confused to know what's right anymore:D

My Victory isnt lite but it isnt too heavy either. On a trip down the blueridge last spring the guys and i were takin a break to enjoy the scenery and next thing you know a Goldwing rounds the corner, he looks at us and not the turn......into the bank and rocks. He was kinda messed up and the bike was stuck in the mud. There was NO WAY he was pickin that bike up, took 6 of us to get it up and back out of the mud....still ran but bad ferring damage.

I figure when a bike gets that big you might as well drive a mini cooper, probably weighs less. But I respect that they want to ride but without the risk of tipping it cuz some people just cant lift em.

I wonder if the people that think the wheels are ridiculous ever consider maybe he has a prosthetic limb and luvs his hobby enough to do it at whatever costs. I am also curious if the people that laugh at him even ride a motorcycle, and I am not talking about 200 or 300 miles a year, I mean people that really ride.
I laugh more at the people that trailer thier bikes to events, than I would seeing him "ride" his into an event.
Just my 2 cents

I have to keep my Busse choppers far away from my chopper.

I find it funny that some trailer there bikes to events, but some are for show or are antiques and they dont want the road ware on em. I put over 2600 miles on my bike between may and October.....I get on it often.

Like I said...some people just cant life em and I could see them wanting training wheels. My mom wants a Trike (not with training wheels, jut 2 back tires)

Back in '06 I had gone to Europe, Hungary to visit family, I had to leave my bike home, (vintage Yamaha Venture), my cousin told me when I came out I could ride his vintage bike, :D it was a 1960s Vespa, after a week of not ridin' I was on the Vespa and toolin' around Kunsziget, (my mom's home town in Hungary) after that I was smilin' and cruisin' every chance I got, In the Wind my Brothers:D and bugs in my teeth:cool:

As far as the trainin' wheels, my argument would be safety, (for the people laughin' so hard on their real motorcycles):D Just kiddin':)., no I mean that they look like they would make the bike harder to control at highway speed and goin' into turns.

LOL

A bunch of image-conscious fashion mavens gossiping about whether he looks nerdy on his bike with training wheels.

Captured your interest though didn't, and like everyone else you even had an opinion, albeit off topic but an opinion non the less, I guess that's why we're all different.:D

Sure, I was interested in seeing what training wheels on a motorcycle looked like. But it was not the image-obsessed negativity of the cycle fashionistas which caught my interest, and, in fact, I skipped to the bottom after a few such comments.

I stand by my statement.

Maybe read all of them before generalization occurs.

One of my coworkers has this setup on his Wing. He trailers a mini-popup camper on weeklong trips. When he gets to his destination... he takes the unit off and is free to roam on 2-wheels. He says it makes his long rides much safer. (high winds/rain/truck turbulence)

I strip a bike down to seat, motor and frame, nothing but a headlight and a tail light. But that's just me so just because I think all of that other stuff is unnecessary doesn't mean it isn't right for another rider.
