Tramontina Machete

Yeah, call me crazy, but all my machetes are shaving sharp. I feel I don't get good performance if they aren't. If your blade isn't sharp, then you have to do more work. Just one belt sanding episode and a touch up out in the field with a diamond hone about once a day and I'm happy. You can get a machete shaving sharp with just a file.

I've used my 14'' Tramontina Bolo for chopping and splitting fire wood when camping last weekend. After 2 days of very heavy use it was still sharp enough to work good on large branches. It was also used as a shovel to move hot charcoals from the fire to the grill :D
