Trangia Mini Unboxing And Review

And, second question, can you really cap the fuel reservoir (once it cools) so there no leak? At all?
Yes you can. After it cooled, when the test was done, I put the cap back on, and no leaks at all.

I have a few SVEA stoves from Swedish mess kits. Here's a size comparison to the Trangia mini:

I haven't used the SVEA for months, and it still has some fuel left over in it. When I opened the mini kit, I could smell alcohol, but it doesn't appear to be leaking. I shook the crap out of it, and it didn't leak.

Excellent, good news. Size is not much of an issue for me, as these guys are all pretty much similar in size — the pot tends to govern the bulk of the cook kit anyway.
