Correct! I had an odd leftover piece of 5/32" stock that I used for mine. The knife looks narrow, top to bottom, but with the curve to the handle you need to start with 1 1/2" stock.
 
I have a very bad habit of looking at John's knives closely. I enjoy seeing how he does things.
 
Finally picked my Trapline up yesterday and it really exceeded my expectations. The execution of the design is flawless and I find it hard to put down. Handle shape, blade profile and grind all are spot on. Thanks for making my dream a reality John, I think this one will be seeing a lot of use.
