To all of you that has never had the pleasure of holding one of Joe's knives, you will not be disappointed. The action in his knives are very smooth, and sharp as a razor. Some of my best knives are by Joe Allen. Again I say, nice job on this one, Joe.

Very nice and clean Joe, the spring and liners look like on solid piece, great job!

Thanks Todd & Eliot. This is a clean one for sure, about all I can find wrong with it is the shield is a hair high on the liner, That white color on the mark side is not sanded deeper that the other side even though pic's make you think so, it just came thru the dye an the pile side didn't . It is sharp an well heat treated an one I would carry for sure.

Well, Joe, I actually like the little bit of white that shows through. It resembles one of my CASE XX Trappers I own,
and gives it some character.

Nice knife Joe, I like the overall profile and blade shape. That white stuff in bone used to drive me
nuts. It took a couple of years to get it figured out.
Ken.

Thank you guys, it means a lot when your Brothers of the trade stand with you an say nice words. Todd you are right about character, I wish the pile side had some also. hehehe!! I read Ken where you boiled your bone an it quit the white streaks after you dyed them. But this bone fooled me this time coz I hadn't had that problem before but once I think, now second.

Thanks High _Noon , Loved that show also. Gary Cooper was great in that an all his shows. Im open to any offers on this knife , just send Pm, gotta move it because Have another Trapper coming soon.

Joe is a delight to do business with, he always is willing to go the extra mile, and just a great guy, all around. I'm expecting a trapper from him shortly, and I cannot wait.
