It's a versatile pattern: full size, single blade slimline, mini trapper Wharncliffe and others. I favour the single blade Slimline type. Here a GEC 48 in Tractor Green Winterbottom style bone.

Not sure if you also like the single blade or Halfmoon Trappers but if so then I highly suggest looking for one of these Canal Street made Kabar Coppersmiths! Such a nice knife with great blade steel and the copper patina really sets them off. The patina changes almost daily and you can easily polish it back to shiny in just a couple minutes.

Finally settled on a pair of simple classics for my self ('03 & an '07/'08), and the horse racing scrimshaw one (an '05) is for a gift to my brother. He likes betting the ponies about as much as I like knives, if not more.

I only have a few of the "chepper checkins". Unless you count Peanuts as Micro Mini Trappers. [emoji12]. Then just a few more cheapies.

There sure are ALOT of great Trappers here, how ever I didn't see mine so I may as well add it.
Good full size Case Trapper in stag with SS blades. Would have bought the CV but wasn't available in a new knife when I bought mine. The way it came sharpened from the factory was a real eye opener in how good toothy can be. Until then I was a polished blade man all the way. This trapper made me sit up and take notice. Sharp and stayed sharp a long time. I like how the bolsters tarnish a little. Reminds me that it is the good ol' stuff.

I bought a belt pouch just for it to show off the stag. I like the way this combo looks and works for me.
