I have a customer that I want to give a 2-blade Trapper to that he can
use and not have to sharpen every single time he uses it.
I sold him a Case Razor's Edge Stag SS Trapper that he has to sharpen all the time.
It gets very sharp and can shave hair, but after a few cuts of cardboard, deer, tape it dulls away.
I looked at it today and we dulled it rather quickly. Not completely dull, but kind of useless as a sharp instrument.
Know what I mean?

Anyone make something with D2, S30V, BG42, ATS34?
It must be available with Stag scales.
It must be 2-bladed
My price range is $70-$160.

Thanks for any help.

Canal Street Cutlery is making them with D2 and 440C. Either should be a big improvement over the Case SS. Heck, even the Case CV would be a step up...

Queen does D2. but not stag handled.

Carbon would open your options up a bit. But there are a couple of nice ones in D2 already mentioned above...

Is Case's cv steel an option? If so, their new Chestnut bone CV trapper is gorgeous.

The Case is pretty. But when I tested Case CV, it retained an edge less well than Buck 420HC.
Queen D2 holds an edge a long long time. (Although it takes a long time to put that edge there.)

Exactly my thoughts.
My customer said, "I can sharpen it up in less than a minute and it's like a razor blade"
I was thinking the whole time how long it takes me to sharpen up ATS or S30V.
