Here's a Schrade 293 trapper that Bob Rufus1949 thoughtfully gifted me recently. At 3 7/8" closed, it's a quarter inch shorter than many full size trappers, and much easier to carry IMHO. I think it's my only USA Schrade that's not an Old Timer model.
